To create an augmented reality photo, just need 2 things are required: a photo and a video. Upload the photos and videos in the Stories PRO, and Stories PRO creates the QR/link which is scanable by a camera
Our mission is to make augmented reality as easy to work with as possible. We don’t charge for views and scans, as we understand that you can have as many scans as 3 or 30,000. Additionally, we want to see our valued customers succeed. For these reasons, we don’t limit the number of scans
To create projects without our watermark, you must have access to Stories AR PRO. If you want to remove the watermarks from demo projects, you can do this with Stories AR PRO. However, be mindful that this affects the monthly photo balance.
With a subscription to the monthly PRO membership, every month 20 photos are added to your photo balance. Your unused photos do carry over to the following months, meaning if you have 5 unused photos this month, you’ll have 25 photos next month after your balance is updated.
With a PRO membership, there’s a monthly balance of 20 AR pictures (Yearly - 250 pictures) (unused photos carry into the following months). This means that you can create 20 different QR codes with photos, 20 AR photos with 1 QR code, or any variation in between.
Once your balance runs out, you can refill it.
To create AR photos, a video of some kind is required to play when the camera is focused on the photo. However, the video doesn’t need to be professionally made or made by yourself. Here are a few workarounds:
- Make a video with a smartphone camera. We don’t require any fancy HD formatting or encoding.
- Create a slideshow. As long as it’s uploaded in the format of a video, the sky is the limit!
- Outsource or collaborate. If you don’t know anyone who specializes in videography, consider outsourcing to someone online. There’s a wide market of professionals hiring out their services.
- Purchase a “stock video” from the internet. Like stock photos, the internet holds a wide selection of videos available for personal projects.
Absolutely not! Anyone can work with augmented reality photos, even children. While this technology provides great benefits to artists and entrepreneurs, Stories AR is available at any walk of life!
We store your files on Amazon AWS servers. Your files are stored on these servers until you delete them yourself. Just like Google Drive or Dropbox
Once a subscription expires, no more AR photos are available to create. However, all existing AR photos will remain working.
AR photos are compatible with many different mediums. Basically, if it can be captured in a still frame then we can work with it. This includes:
- Photos/photo albums
- Printworks such as pamphlets, business cards, newspapers, books, menus, etc.
- Exterior/domestic advertising, such as banners, rolls, signs, etc.
Our application is active without downloading! Just point your camera at the QR-code or follow the link, the mini-application opens in your phone without downloading!
It is important for us that every user can animate his photos, for this reason, we use a mobile application as for now, not WebAR (working in the browser). Unfortunately, WebAR is not available on many smartphones or it works, but rather slowly and incorrectly. As soon as the technology allows us to work without downloading the application, we will definitely implement it without any additional charges for all PRO owners.
